If you’re wondering whether it’s possible to fully automate a network like LinkedIn (or any other), the answer is yes, it is technically possible. However, many experts advise against doing so entirely, as you might lose control over your online image and authenticity.
Maintaining a consistent presence and posting regularly is essential for social media growth, but going 100% automated could alienate your audience.
This brings up a dilemma:
How can you effectively manage your social media if you lack the time or expertise?
100% Automation
Automating any social network at 100% is possible; however, it clearly depends on the business model you’re working with. Personally, I have an issue with the phrase “it can’t be done” — I know it can.
Here’s an example of how I manage this process using three key connections.
To automate this workflow, I created a scenario in Make with three essential sections. First, I use Perplexity, where I make three queries to gather the best news on ‘business models‘. Then, I use ChatGPT to analyze and select the most relevant news, generating content for the post. Finally, I utilize the LinkedIn module to automate the publishing process seamlessly.

I use Perplexity to retrieve real-time data, such as current news or to access the content of specific websites I choose. Currently, I’m using the llama-3.1-sonar-large-128k-online model, and overall, the results it provides are quite compelling.
Here’s an example of one of the three news results:

I use ChatGPT for news selection, which means the AI is responsible for analyzing the options and determining which is the best.

Sounds crazy?
You might think that automating this entire process sounds a bit extreme.
You might think that automating this entire process sounds a bit extreme. However, this is where the real objective of this “impossible” idea comes into play: combining data with valuable insights.
The trick lies, or should lie, in specific details that I can’t reveal in this content, although I can give you some hints. It’s possible to extract performance data from almost anything you do, whether it’s 100% automated or just 10%.
This way, AI can assess the potential impact of the content before taking any action, and determine on its own if it’s appropriate or not.
Welcome to the age of AI and Data.

Do you want to automate your company’s social media?
If you run an agency and want to implement an automation system, or prefer a more conventional approach where a person still oversees the process (at least for now), that’s also an option.
In this model, while a person supervises, all the creative work and time investment are handled by AI integrated into the automation. This allows you to choose whether to publish on any specific platform, a blog, or even across all networks at once.
Additionally, I have developed automation that works with human supervision.

There are multiple formulas that can be applied. Each agency has its own clients, and each client has a particular way of doing things. There’s no issue with creating a customized automation for each one.
For example, you could automate the publishing of your products based on user demand while simultaneously generating a promotional video.
In the end, the only limit is knowledge and, of course, the budget.
